Rules & Regulation
Conduct & Discipline:
- Students are strictly watched and an eye kept on their
mode of conduct. They are supposed to be disciplined, well
behaved and attentive to their day-today studies. Trancy
will be taken seriously. The rules pertaining to their mode
of conduct should strictly be followed by them.
- Students should come to the college regularly and should
in no case miss the periods. 75% attendance in each subject
is essential, failing which candidates will not be allowed
to appear at the final examination.
- Students should come to the college in neat and specified
dress i.e.
- Summer : White shirt &white pant
with black shoes for boys and white dress and black
shoes for girls.
- Winter : Brown blazer & white
full pant and black shoes for boys and for girls, white
dress with brown blazer and black shoes.
- Student will not be allowed to attend practicals without
apron. They are advised to get their names stitched on the
aprons.
- Every student shall have to attend the practicals and
shall have to maintain a practical note book for submission
to the examiner appointed by the University.
- Students are expected to be respectful in their behaviour
with the college staff and the seniors. They need to be
submissive, polite and co-operative to all their college
mates.
- Every student is required to attend programmes or functions
sponsored by the College.
- Smoking and any kind of intoxication in the College Campus
is highly objectionable and will be seriously dealt with.
- Any activity amounting to mis-conduct or causing disruption
to the College or hampering the working of the College will
be treated as a punishable offence and student found to
be involved may be punished to the extent of expulsion from
the College.
- The student absenting himself from the College without
any application for leave shall have to pay Rs. 5/- per
day as fine.
- Students breaking or damaging any instrument during the
practicals shall have to bear the full cost or the cost
of repairs whatever the case may be. This amount may be
adjusted from the caution money if it covers.
- On the beginning of each term the student will report
himself/ herself in writing to the Principal.
- Students are required to appear at each test of half
yearly examination arranged by the College. § Every
student must possess an identity card issued by the College.
- Students should possess a 'Hospital Duty Card 'with out
which hospital duty will not be assigned. Students will
have to provide themselves with the necessary instruments
and other accessories for practicals and ward duties.
- If a student does not claim refund of caution money within
one year of his leaving the College the amount standing
to his credit shall be considered to have been donated by
him to the College fund. No refund will be made without
production of the receipt issued.
- Students are not allowed to make use of the College telephone.
In case of emergency permission from the Principal will
be obtained.
- Absence without leave for more than 30 days at a stretch
will cause removal of the student's name from the College
rolls. Re-admission will not be allowed unless adequate
reason is given with satisfactory proof.
- Library books issued to the students should be maintained
by them and returned on due date. A fine of rupee one per
day will be charged by the Librarian on the late deposition
of a book. Students are advised to draw attention of the
Librarian, if the book is found to be shabby, before the
book is issued, other-wise the student shall have to bear
the cost of the book or the cost of binding, as the case
may be. No application for any kind of freeship will be
entertained.
- Ragging of any kind is strictly prohibited. Any student
found ragging shall be strictly punished by the College
Authorities as per law and rules of the Govt.
Internship
Each student after passing the final examination has to go
under rotatory internship for a period of one year, when and
where instructed by the College Authorities. After successful
completion a certificate to the effect will be issued by the
College.
Executive Powers of the Principal
- All the powers are vested in the Principal regarding
disciplinary action, suspension, expulsion, imposing fines
etc with regard to the students studying in the College,
on violation of the rules and regulation together with the
orders passed by him. The decisions taken by him will be
final and the students have to obey invariably.
- In the interest of the College, the Principal reserves
the right to reject any application without assigning any
reason.
- The powers of removal of a student from the College,
in the interest of the College it self, is reserved with
the Principal.
- The Principal, on the recommendation, of the Conveners
of various activities i.e. discipline, cultural, sports,
magazine etc., on the basis of the merit of a student, reserves
the right of nomination to the membership of any committee.
- The Principal is empowered to condone or lessen the punishment,
if he thinks it to be justified.
Jurisdiction
In case of any dispute, decision of the Governing Body will
be final and territorial jurisdiction for any legal action
shall be limited to Gwalior only.
Appeal
Appeal will lie in the Governing Body of the College against
any order of the Principal and Governing Body's decision will
be final in all cases.
Fee & Other dues
- Students must pay all the fees and other dues in the
month specified in the Fee Chart. After that a late payment
fine will be charged at the rate of one rupee per day.
- Admission card to the sessional examination will not
be issued to the student unless the dues are paid in full.
- Fees once paid will not be refunded even if a student
for any reason does not turn up to the College. Admission
fee will have to be paid by the candidate along with the
out standing dues, at the time of readmission, if allowed.
- College fees are collected in installments as given in
the Fee Chart.
